In March, Nike teamed up with Resident Advisor presenting TRANSPORTAL and the launch of the Liquid Air Max at UNLOCKED Shoreditch, transforming the venue into a multi-level experience spanning installation, product storytelling and late-night programming.
In March, Nike, Resident Advisor presented TRANSPORTAL at UNLOCKED Shoreditch for a project that moved between product launch, spatial installation and nightlife. Built around the Liquid Air Max, the takeover used the building floor by floor to create a campaign world that could shift in tone, format and energy across the day.
The launch began on the ground floor, where an inflatable activation designed by Tom Schneidertransformed the space into a soft, sculptural environment. It set the tone for the project visually, while giving the Liquid Air Max a bold and immersive setting that felt both product-led and experiential.
Across the wider venue, the project used UNLOCKED’s multi-level layout to build a more layered journey around the release. Product moments, visual interventions and campaign touchpoints unfolded across the building, allowing the launch to feel expansive without losing focus on the shoe itself.
At street level, the loading bay created a direct connection between the project and Shoreditch. Open to the pavement and visible from outside, it gave the launch a public-facing edge and helped extend the experience beyond the building itself.
Later in the day, the focus shifted downstairs as Resident Advisor’s involvement brought a new dimension to the project. The basement became the setting for a late-night programme that carried the launch into after-dark territory, with music and live energy reshaping the same venue for a different audience and atmosphere.
