Is UNLOCKED set up for live music?
Yes. Live music is a core use of the space, not an add-on. UNLOCKED Shoreditch has in-house sound and lighting, and the Basement is purpose-built for live performances and DJs, with a dedicated greenroom for artists.
What is the capacity for a live music event?
The Basement at UNLOCKED Shoreditch holds up to 900 standing or 500 seated, and shows can run across multiple floors for up to 1,220 guests. For larger concerts, UNLOCKED Wynwood in Miami holds up to 5,000.
Are there sound limits?
As a licensed Shoreditch venue we operate within agreed sound regulations, and the Basement has a 105dB limit. We confirm the specifics for your show and production during planning.
Can we bring our own production and crew?
Yes. The venue has production-ready infrastructure including power, rigging points, lighting, sound and AV, with in-house production support. External production teams are welcome, and a 4.5m-high loading bay gives street-level access from Curtain Road for load-in.
Is there a cloakroom for gigs?
Yes. A cloakroom is available at GBP 4 per item, and any bags larger than A4 must be stored in the cloakroom.
