Who we are

- Unlocked Shoreditch Limited (company no. 16293095), Lower Ground Floor, 118 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3PJ - music events at our London venues.
- Unlocked OpCo LLC, 2136 NW 1st Avenue, Miami, Florida 33127 - UNLOCKED Wynwood and our US marketing.

What we collect
When you enquire or book
Your name, email, phone number, company and role, the details of your event (dates, guest numbers, timings, plans) and anything you tell us in emails and calls. If you book, we also hold billing and company details, signed agreements, invoices and payment records. Card payments are handled by Stripe - we never see or store your full card number.
When you sign up
The email address (and name or phone number if asked) you give us on guest-list, invite-only, event and newsletter sign-ups, and which list you joined.
When you apply for a job
Your CV and anything else you send us with your application.
When you use our website
Which pages are viewed, the type of device and the site you came from (our own anonymous statistics), and if you arrived from an ad, the campaign tags in the link so we can see which ads bring enquiries. With your consent (or, in the US, unless you opt out) Meta and Leadinfo cookies also collect information about your visit - see Cookies.
When you get our emails
Whether our marketing emails are delivered, opened or clicked, so we can send fewer, better emails.
The UNLOCKED app
If you join through our member app, your member profile (name, email, phone), your marketing and notification choices, and the offers you redeem.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and run your event - quotes, agreements, invoices, planning and support. (UK legal basis: to take steps towards and perform a contract.)
- For accounting, tax and legal reasons - keeping financial records and meeting our legal obligations.
- To tell you about our events and venues - by email, if you signed up or are a business contact who has dealt with us. Every email has an unsubscribe link. (Consent, or our legitimate interest in marketing to business contacts.)
- To advertise - measuring which ads work, and showing ads to people similar to our guests and clients by sharing a scrambled (hashed) version of email addresses with Meta. (Consent for cookies; our legitimate interests for audiences. You can object at any time.)
- To improve and protect our website - anonymous statistics, spam protection on forms and keeping the site secure. (Our legitimate interests.)
- To consider job applications.
We use AI tools to help our team sort enquiries and draft replies. A person always reviews and decides - we don’t make decisions with legal or similar effects about you by automated means alone.
International transfers
We work across the UK and the US, and several of our providers are based in the US. Where your information leaves the UK, we rely on the UK-US Data Bridge, UK adequacy decisions or the UK’s approved contract terms (the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum) to keep it protected.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings: while we’re in touch, then up to 7 years after your last booking (for tax and legal reasons). Enquiries that don’t go ahead are reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.
- Marketing: until you unsubscribe. We keep a note of the address so we never email you again by mistake.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you join us.
- Website statistics: up to 26 months.
Your rights
In the UK
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. You can object to direct marketing at any time, and withdraw consent whenever we rely on it. We reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk - but please talk to us first so we can put it right.
In the US
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out of marketing cookies. Email us to use any of these rights - we won’t treat you differently for doing so.
