Who we are
UNLOCKED runs event venues in London (UNLOCKED Shoreditch and Sacred Shoreditch) and Miami (UNLOCKED Wynwood). In these terms “UNLOCKED”, “we” and “us” means the company responsible for the part of our service you’re using:
- Spaces Unlocked Events and Exhibitions Limited (company no. 15604987), 118 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3PJ - this website, our London venues and corporate events.
- Unlocked Shoreditch Limited (company no. 16293095), Lower Ground Floor, 118 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3PJ - music events at our London venues, the UNLOCKED app and Inner Circle.
- Unlocked OpCo LLC, 2136 NW 1st Avenue, Miami, Florida 33127 - UNLOCKED Wynwood.
Using our website
These terms apply whenever you use unlockedx.com. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
- try to get into parts of the site or its systems you don’t have access to, or introduce viruses or other harmful code;
- do anything that overloads or disrupts the site;
- send false or misleading information through our forms.
We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we don’t promise it will always be available, complete or free of errors. It’s a general guide, and we can change or remove anything on it at any time.
Shows and tickets
What’s On lists shows at our venues. We don’t sell tickets on this website. Tickets are sold by independent ticket sellers, such as Resident Advisor, See Tickets and DICE.
- Your ticket. It’s covered by the terms of the seller you buy it from and any terms set by the show’s promoter. Refunds, exchanges and transfers go through the seller.
- Show details. Line-ups, times and spaces can change, and shows can be moved or cancelled. We try to keep listings accurate, but check with your ticket seller for the latest.
- Sold out shows. We mark a show Sold Out once we know it has sold out, so a listing may take a little time to catch up.
- Getting in. Entry depends on the conditions of your ticket and our door policy. Age limits and ID requirements can vary by show. Our staff can refuse entry or ask someone to leave for reasons of safety, licensing, the law or behaviour.
Hiring a venue
Sending an enquiry through our website doesn’t create a booking. A booking only exists once we have both signed a hire agreement. That agreement and its terms then cover your event, and they take priority over these terms on anything they deal with.
Capacities, floor plans, prices and photos on this website are a general guide. Your agreement sets out what you’re booking.
Sign-ups and forms
If you sign up to a guest list, invite-only night or our emails, or send us an enquiry or job application, the details you give must be accurate and yours to give. Signing up to a list doesn’t guarantee you a place or entry unless we confirm it. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
Our content
The UNLOCKED name and logos, and the text, photos, videos and designs on this website, belong to us or to the people who license them to us. Show artwork belongs to its owners. You’re welcome to view them and share links to our pages. You can’t copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
Other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as ticket sellers and social media. We don’t control those sites, and we aren’t responsible for their content or for anything you buy from them.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle your personal information, including cookies, is explained in our Privacy & Cookies notice.
The UNLOCKED app
The UNLOCKED app is our membership app. This section applies to it, along with the rest of these terms.
Membership
- Membership is free, and you join in the app. Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in to yourself.
- Your membership is personal. Your card and its QR code are for you alone and can’t be shared or transferred.
- Membership isn’t a ticket and doesn’t guarantee entry to a show, unless these terms say otherwise.
- We can suspend or end a membership that’s been misused, for example by sharing a card, abusing an offer or behaving badly at our venues.
Perks, offers and rewards
- Perks, offers and rewards, such as a welcome drink, are shown in the app. Any terms and dates shown with them apply as well as these.
- Each code is for you to use once, is spent when it’s scanned, ends when the app says it does and can’t be exchanged for cash.
- We only serve alcohol to people of legal drinking age, and may ask for ID.
- We can change or end perks, offers and rewards at any time.
Presales and members-only nights
- A members’ presale gives you early access to buy tickets. It isn’t a ticket, and tickets can sell out. Presale links and codes are for you alone, and Shows and tickets above applies to anything you buy.
- Members-only nights are listed in the app, not on our website. Our door policy still applies.
Inner Circle
- Inner Circle is our paid membership, billed monthly, and you can cancel at any time. It isn’t on sale yet. Before you can join, the app will show you the price, how payment works and how to cancel.
- Your legal rights, including any right to cancel within 14 days of joining, aren’t affected.
- The perks are listed in the app. If we make a change that leaves Inner Circle significantly worse for you, we’ll tell you first and you can cancel.
- At the door. When your card is scanned you get queue jump and one drink voucher for that visit. The voucher lapses after 12 hours, and scanning again within 6 hours doesn’t give you another.
Inner Circle guest list
The guest list is a perk of Inner Circle membership. Claim a spot on a show in the UNLOCKED app before it sells out, and your place is guaranteed.
- Two shows a month. You can claim a spot on any 2 shows each calendar month, counted by the month the show is in.
- Sold out shows. When a show sells out the venue is at capacity, so its guest list closes and no new spots can be claimed. A spot you claimed before it sold out stays yours.
- Just you. A spot is for one person, the member, with no plus-ones. Show your membership card at the door. Our door policy still applies.
- Giving a spot back. You can give a spot back in the app up to the day before the show, and it goes back into your allowance for that month. It can’t be given back on the day of the show.
Closing your account
You can ask us to delete your account in the app, under Account. Our team reviews each request, confirms what happens to your membership and data, and removes what we’re able to. Some records have to be kept for legal and accounting reasons. Any perks, offers and rewards you haven’t used end when your account closes.
App stores
The terms of the app store you download from, such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play, also apply to your download. We’re responsible for the app, not them.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit. Your legal rights as a consumer aren’t affected.
Subject to that:
- Our website and app are for personal use. We aren’t liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity, and if you use them for business we also aren’t liable for indirect loss or loss of goodwill.
- Tickets are sold by third parties, so any claim about a ticket is with the seller or promoter.
- As long as we’ve taken reasonable care, we aren’t liable for the website or app being unavailable, or for loss caused by a virus or other harmful material that reaches you through them.
- Venue hire is covered by the liability terms in your hire agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. The latest version applies from that date. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also use the courts where you live, and you keep any consumer protections that apply there.
For anything to do with UNLOCKED Wynwood and Unlocked OpCo LLC, the law of the State of Florida applies instead, and the courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida can hear any dispute.
